Abbey Flaum joined the fight against blindness in August 2008 when she was named to the Prevent Blindness Georgia Board of Directors. An attorney at Ingwersen & Taylor LLP, an Atlanta tax and estate planning firm, she currently serves on the Development Committee.
As a summa cum laude graduate of Arizona State University, Flaum earned a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and Spanish. In 2006, she earned a JD from the University of Miami School of Law. She is currently working toward her LLM in Taxation through the University of Alabama School of Law.
Flaum is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, and the Atlanta Bar Association. Beyond her board service at Prevent Blindness Georgia, Flaum volunteers time to the PATH Foundation and Jewish Family and Career Services. She is a member of the 2010 class of the Anti-Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Institute. |
