Eye Consultants of Atlanta Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma Specialist Scott Pastor, MD joined the Prevent Blindness Georgia Board of Directors in 2006. Dr. Pastor actively works to preserve sight by serving as chair of the Adult Program Committee.
Dr. Pastor graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas. Dr. Pastor finished his education at the University of California, San Francisco, where he completed a Glaucoma Fellowship.
Dr. Pastor is a Clinical Associate Professor, Emeritus, at Emory University Medical School and a board certified member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the Eye Study Club, the Georgia Association of Ophthalmology, and the American Glaucoma Society. Additionally, Dr. Pastor volunteers his time for Eyecare America.
In his spare time, Dr. Pastor enjoys playing in two bands, The Macular Degenerates and Artificial Hip. |
