Each year, Prevent Blindness Ohio hosts Aging Eye Luncheons for donors, supporters and volunteer leaders in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Toledo. Luncheon presentations focus on vision topics of interest to seniors.

Prevent Blindness Ohio held its 2008 Light the Night for Sight™ Walkathons on Saturday, June 21, in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus and Dayton.
The annual statewide walk event raised more than $40,000 for PBO’s mission. Money raised by the event goes toward the sight-saving programs and services of Prevent Blindness Ohio. Thank you for your support of this fun, family-oriented, fund raising event!

The Light the Night for Sight™ Walkathon brings families together to support Prevent Blindness Ohio. Proceeds will be used to educate the public about the eye injury risks from personal use of fireworks and to support PBO’s vision screening and educational services to more than 800,000 Ohioans annually.
PBO is looking for team captains, walkers and planning committee members throughout the state. Organizations can also sponsor the 2009 Light the Night for Sight™ Walk and receive benefits that include their logo on shirts and listings on event banners, signage and promotional fliers.
