Did you know that businesses and organizations that host VISION screenings can help identify people who are at risk for eye diseases?
Nearly half of the 50,000 Americans who lose their sight each year did not have to go blind. A screening does not replace an eye doctor’s exam, but it can help identify people who are at risk for eye disease. Finding eye disease early saves sight.
Prevent Blindness Texas offers FREE VISION SCREENINGS to children and adults for corporate and employee health fairs, churches, schools, senior centers, recreation centers, assisted living homes, and other non-profit organizations.
Regular vision screenings are essential for healthy vision. Vision screenings can help in early detection and treatment as well as helping to prevent the onset of certain eye diseases. By making vision screenings part of the general health regimen for yourself and others, you can help yourself and others look forward to healthy vision for years to come!
Screenings are conducted by Prevent Blindness Texas staff and volunteers upon request and availability.
