A Little Night Vision is the signature event of Prevent Blindness North Carolina. Featuring an hors d’oeuvres tasting from local restaurants, an incredible silent auction, live music from one of the area’s funkiest bands and complimentary beer and wine, this is a definite ‘mark your calendar’ occasion. This event’s success is thanks to the dynamic volunteer committee and corporate sponsors. The 2010 event is already shaping up to be one of the best events yet.

On February 16, the magic of Hollywood came to downtown Raleigh for an evening of fun. The 10th annual “A Little Night Vision”, held at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, featured a delicious tasting of local restaurants, the rocking sounds of the Fantasy Band, and a silent auction valued at over $20,000. With over 300 in attendance, this evening proved to be a wonderful time and raised over $41,000 for the sight saving efforts of PBNC. Food was provided by Barbara Boney Caterers, Bentley’s at Crossroads, Square Rabbit and Taverna Agora.
Special thanks to our volunteer committee, chaired this year by Julie Cox and Melissa Essick. And special thanks to the following
