Safety Glasses Prevent Eye Injury in Tree Disposal Mishap

Central Falls, Rhode Island Public Works Foreman Tony Miguel was cutting branches in Jenks Park when without warning a large branch popped up and hit him in the face. The force of the impact against Tony's safety glasses caused a cut at the top of his nose where the bridge of the eye glasses rest. Tony was wearing Harley-Davidson safety glasses that meet the Z87.1 standard for protective eyewear.

If he had not had the glasses on his eyes would have been in jeopardy. Tony was brought to the hospital were he was treated for stitches on the bridge of his nose.
