“3-D” Fireworks return to Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, Conn., on July 4 to benefit Prevent Blindness Tri-State. Special “3-D” Fireworks viewing glasses will be sold for $1 at the park during the day with proceeds benefiting Prevent Blindness Tri-State.

Helping to kick off the holiday promotion at the park with the new “3-D” glasses are (from the left): Marianne Como, Naugatuck Savings Bank branch manager in Middlebury; Naomi Hayner, Connecticut programs manager with Prevent Blindness Tri-State; and Carson Baker, director of operations with Pepsi Cola of Bristol, Conn. The event is sponsored by Naugatuck Savings Bank, Pepsi, Gibraltar Pools, Price Chopper and Voices.

Recipients of the Prevent Blindness Tri-State Eyes on America’s Workforce Safety Award were announced at the Mid-Atlantic Region Safety, Health& Wellness EXPO/2010 in Atlantic City sponsored by the New Jersey Safety Council.
