She is the Director of CHOP’s Fostering Health Program which provides comprehensive medical assessments for youth in foster care. She is also an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Fortin received her medical degree from the University of Montreal Faculty of Medicine and a Master of Public Health degree from Brown University. \n\n		\n	\n\n\n	\n		\n			 \n\n		\n	\n\n	\n		\n			Julie Le\, OD\, MBA\nChief of Specialty Services (Eye Care)\nLowell Community Health Center \nJulie Le\, OD\, MBA\, is an optometrist with more than 20 years of experience in clinical care\, practice development\, and improving access to eye care for underserved communities. After several years in private practice\, she founded and built her own optometry practice before transitioning to community-based healthcare. \nDr. Le established and led the Eye Care Center at Lowell Community Health Center\, creating a comprehensive vision care program that expanded access to eye care for patients throughout the region\, including bringing vision care services directly into school-based health centers. She also piloted the use of AI-powered medical interpretation services to improve communication and access for patients with limited English proficiency. In addition\, she consults with community health centers and healthcare organizations on developing specialty service lines\, improving operations\, and increasing patient access to care\, and serves as Co-Chair of the Eye Care Forum for the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. \nA graduate of the University of Michigan and the Southern California College of Optometry\, Dr. Le holds an MBA in Finance and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. She has dedicated her career to expanding access to quality vision care\, developing innovative care delivery models\, and reducing barriers that prevent patients from receiving the eye care services they need. \n\n		\n	\n\n\n	\n		\n			 \n\n		\n	\n\n	\n		\n			Lori McCoy\, COA\nDirector\, Global Outreach\nJohn A. Moran Eye Center\nUniversity of Utah \nLori McCoy\, COA\, has dedicated her career to ophthalmology\, beginning in the eye care field at just 15 years old. Over many years\, she has worked across all ophthalmic subspecialties and as a surgical scrub technician\, developing a deep passion for patient care and vision restoration. \nMs. McCoy joined the Moran Eye Center in 2013 as an ophthalmic technician. After participating in her first Global Outreach mission in 2014\, she discovered her true calling—bringing quality eye care to underserved communities. In 2024\, Ms. McCoy became the Director of the Global Outreach Division. She has devoted her career to expanding access to vision care through local and international outreach programs\, with a focus on sustainable partnerships\, education\, and service. Ms. McCoy is very passionate about helping people receive sight-saving care who would otherwise have little or no access to ophthalmic services. \n\n		\n	\n\n\n	\n		\n			 \n\n		\n	\n\n	\n		\n			Kim Schuy Greenberg\nBoard member\nPrevent Blindness \nKim Schuy Greenberg is owner of Pine and Prestige Worldwide. She has had a successful career in the vision industry with over 20 years of leadership positions at EssilorLuxottica and Novartis\, among others. She is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in the foster care system. Ms. Greenberg is a member of the Prevent Blindness Board of Directors and also serves on the corporate board of Texas State Optical. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and received an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
