As part of “World Sight Day” Activities, Prevent Blindness, and the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington will hold a Free Capitol Hill Vision Screening Event

Because more than more than 7 million Americans are living with uncorrectable vision loss, including more than 1 million who are living with blindness, Prevent Blindness and the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington, greater Washington’s vision health leader and educator, will be hosting a free vision screening event as part of World Sight Day activities. This event is sponsored by Horizon Therapeutics. World Sight Day, coordinated by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), aims to raise awareness of blindness and vision impairment as major global public health and development issues.
