About the Event
Routine vision screening plays an important role in identifying potential eye health issues early, often before symptoms are noticeable. Bringing vision screenings to Capitol Hill helps make eye care more accessible and raises awareness about the importance of prevention and early detection.
The theme of this event, Love Your Eyes, was established by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness to spotlight eye health worldwide.
If you are interested in learning more about national efforts to support early detection for children, you can explore Prevent Blindness’s work on the Early Detection of Vision Impairments for Children (EDVI) Act.
Registration
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged for those planning to attend.
